Sacred Silence -A day retreat (Shirley, B.C.)

A day long silent retreat at Sugar Bear Cove in Shirley, B.C. (Vancouver Island near Sooke)

Join Amarin for a day long silent Retreat supported by the ocean, the Sitkas, Douglas Fir, Cedars , Ferns and mossy beds!

Unwind, breathe, wander, reconnect! Nourishing plant based lunch/snacks and tea is provided.

This day long nature immersion offers an opportunity to unwind, relax and reconnect with self and the more than human world.

Follow the invitation of the Natural World to be quiet and still, drawing our senses and energy inward, wrapping ourselves in the cloak of noble silence just as the moss and lichens blanket the landscape around us. There is much to celebrate here in sacred silence. This day retreat invites us to gather, to remember the connections we have within ourselves, to the earth, to each other. Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation practices, journalling , Mandala making and plant based nourishment.

"In these times of uncertainty, it can be easy to forget our connectedness and recoil from the world in an attempt to numb ourselves. These are the times when the spirit and the heart of Forest & Nature Therapy is needed most. Whatever happens in the next few months, we hope that you will continue to reach towards connection. If these times are a threshold, let us cross it together, with each other and with the More-than-Human-World." -ANFT
