Nature heals….

The healing effects of nature have been studied for over four decades and has proven to lower blood pressure, boost immune system, reduce stress hormones, and improves mental health. Our nature therapy experiences and Meditation in Nature retreats will leave you feeling connected, calm, and refreshed.

 

Spending time mindfully in nature nurtures the connection between the human and more than human world. It assists us in unwinding from our day to day lives, invites us to relax and recharge, improving our mood and concentration, boosts our immune system, enhances the felt experience of aliveness and our place within the natural world. In slowing down in nature, we begin to perceive life from a new lens, we gain new insights, creativity is inspired, we experience an enhanced sense of belonging. 

Amarin Dawn offers solo and group experiences in natural landscapes that provide opportunities to connect to self, each other and especially the more than human world. Simple inquiries and mindfulness based practices serve as invitations to arrive, unwind and reconnect and heal.

Periods of stillness and silence may provide us with an opportunity to listen to our own hearts, to listen to the landscape we are immersed in, tapping into the richness and aliveness of the moment… perhaps even contemplating the love that binds all of life together. This practice instils a heartfelt embodied relationship with Nature. Nature therapy invites a remembrance of our place in everything, that we are connected to everything, that we are not separate. The sense of connectedness invites compassion, supporting the kind of relational values that will support new solutions for the health of people and the planet. 

The result is the cultivation of a deep love of Self as nature, You protect what you love…
